Hugo Buss, are there any Chavdars in your city? Do you like our production?

No, unfortunately we are stucked with Berkhof Ambassadors (see attachment). I always call them lawnmowers, because of the noise they make. It's a bus build for a much shorter period than buses used to (now for maximal 5-10 years) So it's not a very good quality bus...

My favorite buses still will be as a regional bus a DAF MB200-Den Oudsten (attachment 2) and as a city bus a DAF-Hainje (the older version then the ones in Burgas) and as trolleybus a DAF Den Oudsten B7900 (attachment 3)

I saw the Chavdars, they're nice, but seem a bit old-fashioned for Holland standards...(no offence  ) some of them seem to me a bit like an old Setra. Is that coïncedence?

Don`t be silly! I`m sure that the people of Holland don`t know anything about our "production"

Why not? If the Germans know, it's very possible that they do too

Uh uh uh, Holland isn't Germany
For example, I'm not eating Bratwurst all day

But to be honest, less then a year ago I only knew Cheddar, and now also Chavdar

yep, u r right. the model Chavdar 11M4 is based on old Setras form the 70s. the model Chavdar-Man 141 - on Steyr /i am not sure for the exactle name of the styr's model/.
the buses are really to old fashin - the reason is that in the pro-soviet countrys the evoluting of the design stops by the protoype. than we have 10-20-30 years of production of abolutle the same product. the best example is Ikarus 280 - a really genius bus, but it didn't have the property historical chance to evolute.

this is 11M4:

this is 141 - from those model were manifacured not so many buses, because few months after Chavdar has bancruted:

You forgot to mention that the front lights of that 11M4 are not the original ones

If it's correct, buses like the following former Dutch types of buses should drive in Varna and surroundings:
http://busphotos.qixs.nl/foto%27s/bba/0xxx...beelding002.htm
http://busphotos.qixs.nl/foto%27s/connexxi...3-6798/6797.htm

And (a) bus(es) like these one in Albena:

Does anyone now more about it or have pictures?

Well, all I know for sure is that the Varna's most famous transport operator - "Transtriumf" (yes, they don't know how to write their name on English) is holding a few of the type on the first picture

At an exhibition in Kortrijk, Belgium, there was a bus of BMC. For two photos, please visit my website busfoto.nl: Busfoto.nl: BMC

I see it's written that the bus is Russian      But it's Turkish actually   BMC started lately to build very beautiful buses, but unfortunately, they have already proven in two Bulgarian cities they're everything but reliable and comfortable

Definitely is for Bulgaria. On the window-glass is written in bulgarian "emergency exit" (Авариен Изход)
